Easter Weekend and update on Baby Finn

So, I know I have been really bad about updating this blog and I hope to more frequently but I am not going to promise anything. So I am officially 16 weeks pregnant tomorrow I can't believe it has already been 16 weeks. We are going back to the doctor this next Thursday the 15th and I am hoping that I can get a sonogram so we can finally know if we are having a boy or a girl, but no promises but keep your fingers crossed.

We are leaving for California April 20th and will be gone a whole week I am so excited and can not wait to get away with my hubby after all we have gone through these past 8 months I don't know what i would have done without him. I have been wanting to visit California since Ryan and I started dating almost three years ago. We are going to spend a day at Disneyland and stay at the disneyland resort hotel and then one day at Huntington Beach at a hotel on the water :)

We had a great easter we went to the lake for four days. The easter bunny brought me some new maternity clothes which was greatly appreciated...thanks easter bunny :) We had a great and relaxing time which is just what we needed for Easter weekend.

Happenings in Feb. and March

Okay so since I have been told I needed to update....Let me see where to begin. I will add pictures later when I figure it all out.

So Valentines Day was awesome Ryan sent me two dozen roses from him and a dozen tulips from Baby Finn with the sweetest cards from both :) and a teddy bear. The night before we exchanged gifts I got Ryan a hat and two really nice shirts from Eddie Bauer :) I got a beautiful heart necklace with diamonds in it, I wear it everyday my hubby is the best gift giver ever I am so lucky! On valentines night we went to Pappa Brothers Steakhouse in Dallas which is a steakhouse we have never been to before and it was great. I ate so much which was great since I have not had the appetite lately.

Since then morning sickness has decided to rear it's ugly head, some days are better than others. I am now 11 weeks along so the sickness should come to and end soon...at least I hope. We go to our next appointment on March 16th and we can't wait to see our baby again!

The next two weekends are going to be really fun. Ryan and I are traveling to the big city of Waco, Tx. Ryan is going to sniper school near Waco Fri-Sunday. While he is doing that I am going shopping, and hanging out with my dear friend Jillian...I am so excited to see her.

Then the weekend after this we are going to the Lake with the Clark family. I have not been to the lake since new years it seems like forever. I can't wait to go fishing since it might be a little difficult to fish this summer when I am big and prego. I love the Lake it is so relaxing.

Baby Finn is 8 weeks and 4 days old

So far our pregnancy journey has been fairly easy. Last week was a bit of a challenge with morning sickness well more afternoon sickness and I did not feel like eating anything. This week I actually feel like myself. We went to our doctor today and found out that our due date is actually later than we thought so instead of the 19th of September we are looking at the 24th of September. We were blessed to be able to see the babies tiny heartbeat on the monitor today and they was an amazing experience. Baby Finn has received many amazing gifts and as soon as I figure out how to upload pictures from my camera to the blog I will. Ryan is doing great he is really taking care of me and makes sure that I don't over do it he is going to be a terrific father :)

Fort Worth Stock Show

We went to the Fort Worth Stock Show today with the Clark family. It wasn't exactly what we had pictured but it was a neat experience to watch the kids light up when they saw the animals. We got home around 5:30pm and both Ryan and I were so exhausted. I feel asleep on the couch which is nothing new for me these days. I am learning more and more about being pregnant and one of those is that I can go about three hours then I have to lay down. My back is hurting less and less now since I found out it is okay to take tylenol when pregnant. So far I am doing great just need to listen to my body more and rest when I need to. Can't wait for baby Finn to be here it seems forever away, but right now he/she is in the best place possible. Babies heart is growing stronger each and everyday hopefully we will be able to hear it at our next appointment Feb 11th.

Baby Finn's First Picture

We went to our first doctor's appointment today. I am 5 weeks along and baby Finn is healthy. We go back in three weeks to hear the heartbeat for the first time. I can't wait to hold baby Finn it seems forever away :) The little Speck inside my wedding band is our baby!

This is my first blog ever...I have decided to start this blog because I want to be able to document our lives and allow those that are not near us on a daily basis to see pictures and hear all about our lives here in Texas.
